Largest NFT project in Switzerland on the occasion of the Swiss Digital Days 2022

Swiss Digital Days 2022 offers the Swiss population the opportunity for exchange, discussion, and access to more than 100 events on the topic of digitalization. During seven weeks, digitalswitzerland in collaboration with its partners will organise a series of local events in seven regions of Switzerland. Join us in our bubbles, a unique setting coming to a city near you, or attend one of the online events, and experience the digital future.

Starting on Sep 5 2022, the Swiss population can look forward to over 200 free events, lectures, workshops and demos on the subject of digitization over a period of seven weeks at the Swiss Digital Days. Diana Engetschwiler, Deputy Managing Director digitalswitzerland: “This year, the Swiss Digital Days are more regional than ever before. With our ‘bubbles’ we visit a total of 18 different venues and convey digitization to the visitors in an environment they are familiar with. And with our three main formats ‘GreenTech Startup Battles’, ‘herHACK’ and ‘NextGen: Future Skills Lab’ we give future-oriented projects and ideas the spotlight they deserve.”

As part of the Swiss Digital Days 2022, digitalswitzerland and Swiss Post are inviting the public to participate in one of the world’s largest collaboratively created digital works of art: swissp[AI]nt.

The unique project, which is further supported by Ergon, Migros and Ringier, uses state-of-the-art artificial intelligence to convert terms selected by visitors into fascinating images. Creating the images is child’s play using the touchscreen art generator. The individual works will be assembled into a digital collage that will be auctioned off at the end of the Swiss Digital Days as an NFT (non-fungible token) for a good cause. The project will be inaugurated by Federal President Ignazio Cassis as part of the opening event of the Swiss Digital Days – he will also create the first digital work of art.

The individual masterpieces created by the population will also flow into the creation of the next Swiss Crypto Stamp from Swiss Post. There is a chance to take part during the seven-week tour of Switzerland across seven regions: the installation travels from venue to venue with the “Bubbles”, the inflatable visitor centers at the Swiss Digital Days (exact dates at www.digitaltage.swiss). Nicole Burth, Head of Communications Services and member of the Swiss Post Group Executive Board:

“The first two Swiss Crypto Stamps from Swiss Post were a success. With the help of the digital days, we can offer the Swiss population the opportunity to participate in the design of the third edition. This is unique and makes us very happy!”
