I am pleased to announce my participation in the exhibition “Les Allumé.es” at Quartier Libre SIG in Geneva, from December 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023 – with Djeff, Ludo, Marko 93 and Philippe Echaroux – on a proposal from the Musée en herbe and Little Beaux Arts.
Quartier Libre SIG presents “Les Allumé es” from December 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023. Produced by the Musée en Herbe and Little Beaux-Arts, and organized by SIG, this artistic and educational exhibition explores the themes of light and nature. It presents 5 artists whose installations all have in common to be at the same time luminous, interactive and in connection with nature.
The exhibition “Les Allumé es” presents the works of artists recognized on the international scene, French and Swiss, committed to the planet. Djeff, Geneviève Fabre Petroff, Ludo, Marko 93 and Philippe Echaroux exhibit luminous and interactive works, on the theme of the tremendous energy of nature: the sun, the wind, the animals, the plants and the trees are their sources of energy. inspiration. These artists have in common to make luminous art in an approach committed to ecology and the environment.
These works question us on the impact of man on the environment and on our consumption patterns, questions that take on their full meaning at a time of climate emergency. The installations presented consume little energy because they are made from LED devices or even phosphorescent paint.
“I am proud that SIG exhibits these artists who, through their works, contribute to the energy transition necessary to build a sustainable future,” enthuses Christian Brunier, CEO of SIG.
Through an immersive scenography, the visitor is invited to discover 8 works in spaces dedicated to each artist. Paintings, installations and projections are to be discovered and experienced. The public is invited to enter the works and be an actor: they can be captured in a giant spider’s web, trigger wind, see chorophyll rise in a leaf dress, see flowers grow on their heads. , marvel at fireflies or try your hand at light painting.
Beyond the walls of the Pont de la Machine, an outdoor installation created by the artist Philippe Echaroux, consisting of two image projections, will also be presented at nightfall.
Fun and educational, the “Les Allumé es” exhibition is intended for a wide audience, particularly families, schools, children from 3 years old and adults. Guided tours are offered for groups.
